Who can use Mjolnir?
Mjolnir accounts are granted to people working with a research group that uses the cluster. Access is tied to a principal investigator (PI) or project, not requested independently.
What you need before requesting access#
- A KU-ID. You log in with your KU user ID and its password, so you need a University of Copenhagen identity before an account can be created.
- A PI or project affiliation. Every request is verified with the PI before an account is created. If you do not know which group or project you should be associated with, ask your supervisor or group leader before submitting a request.
External collaborators#
Collaborators from outside the university can be given access when a participating PI sponsors them, but they still need a KU identity to log in. If you are an external collaborator, start by asking the PI you are working with — they need to confirm the affiliation as part of the request.
Note If you are not sure whether you are eligible, ask your PI first. A request that cannot be matched to a group or project cannot be approved.
Next step#
When you know which group or project you belong to, continue to Request access.
